Home > 16 km River Rafting in Rishikesh

Shivpuri Camping and River Rafting Site is the best rafting point for families and is stretched up to 16 Km from Shivpuri to Rishikesh. It comes second after Brahmpuri Rafting point in terms of distance from Rishikesh. Rafting is all about facing the natural river rapids on rafting boats and also on, how much a rafter can take it. These various River rapids are generalized into grades as per International Grading System. Children below 12 years are prohibited from any of the offered rafting expeditions.

Shivpuri Rafting stretch has been given over 2 & 3 water grade because the water flow is not easy and the passage is not hurdle-free. Rafters can find the rapids difficult with irregular waves and unclear paths. Some of the exciting river rapids during the course of rafting are a Roller coaster, Return to Sender, Golf Course, and Club House. It is advisable to choose the rafting point with extreme caution depending on their physical strength, age and capacity. In consideration of the Brahmpuri rafting point, Shivpuri is more adventurous and needs a planned rafting trip. The camps site is generally booked by families and offers scenic views of Himalayan valleys. So, just book a camp at the Shivpuri camping site and enjoy a fun-filled rafting experience at a reasonable cost.
